This picture was taken from inside the glacier. As you can see, the inside was an eerie, but beautiful blue color. It was dry inside despite the "rain" from the glacier entrance (see entrance picture), and surprisingly, it was warmer inside than outside, as the wind blowing off the glacier made it very cold. This was fascinating for Suzanne as the closest she had ever been to a glacier was the Matterhorn ride at Disneyland.

Although walking inside a glacier was really neat, we met up with two very sad "Polar Bears" at the end. Basically men dressed up in wet, fluffy white Polar Bear outfits that wanted you to take their picture with them for a fee. Now that's a summer job I wouldn't want!
